Welcome to class!

Your health and safety are priorities. We are all members of the Waubonsee community, and we owe it to each other to protect ourselves and one another. When I come to class, I’ll be wearing a face covering. I expect you to do the same. If there is some reason that isn’t possible for you, please contact me by email, and we’ll see what arrangements can be made. If you come to class in person, you’ll need to be wearing a face mask.

I also expect you to monitor your health, and you should stay home if you’ve been exposed to someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19 or if you develop any symptoms that might be related to COVID-19. I am going to be performing a health self-assessment each day, and I want you to do the same. You can use the Self-Screening Checklist provided on Waubonsee’s Return to Campus for Students page.

It is important to note that the new virus strains spread faster and easier than the original strain. Strict prevention measures are required. Please be diligent, and do not underestimate the significance of asymptomatic spread.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, please contact me and send an email to covid19@waubonsee.edu. Please do not come to campus.

Best of luck for a safe and enjoyable semester!
